Ebooks & Audibooks available from the LMC

CiTi Library Media Center

The Library Media Center has several options for Ebooks available for CiTi students.  These resources can be accessed from any web browser from anywhere.

MackinVIA
The LMC as a collection of Audiobooks and EBooks available through the MackinVIA website and app.  When on campus you will automatically be authenticated (IP verified) to access the MackinVIA website, no login needed.  To access when not on a CiTi network please ask your Library Media Specialist (LMS) for username and password.  Students can set up a login of their own to add bookmarks and notes to their reading.

World EBooks

World EBooks are Fiction and Informational Text (Non-Fiction) books on topics relevant and of interest to our students.  There are over 1200 texts to choose from.  You will access the books through the LMC's Search webpage.  World EBooks are accessed through a web browser.  Ask your Library Media Specialist for the login information.

Nook Books/Devices

The Library Media Center has 14 Nook Tablets available for classroom use.  Each Nook have a small collection of ebooks already downloaded to them.  You can see the titles by searching the library catalog for "Nook" this will bring up a list of books available on the devices.  The Nooks also have the apps for OverDrive and MackinVIA already installed on them.  Nooks are available to be reserved using the  library catalog.
