Library Resources at CiTi

Library Resources Overview

Here at CiTi we have many resources that are offered through the Library Media Center.  As the Library Media Specialist I will add those resources to this blog to give you an overview of what is available.  If you need the login and passwords for any of these items please contact me for that information.  I am available through Email and Google Hangouts.

The Student library has two locations.  One at 4th Street in Fulton, NY and one on the CiTi main campus in Mexico, NY.  These locations offer a selection of books for students to borrow for general reading but also for research for class assignments.  Teachers can also borrow any of these books.  Each location has a self-check-out station.  Just scan your barcode and then each book you are borrowing.

There is also a Curriculum Library for teacher access.  The Curriculum Library is located at 4th Street Fulton, NY.  There is one computer there with more coming soon.  Teachers will be able to stay and plan with the materials and borrow materials to take back to their classrooms.  The Curriculum Library is divided into two sections.  The Fiction/Dewey/Professional side (Thing 1) and the Textbook/Kit side (Thing 2).  To check items out from the Curriculum Library you will need to sign into a computer and log into the Library  (Opals) Catalog.  http://vbe.osw.opalsinfo.net/  Thing 1 side you will go to the Circulation Loan Tab and for the Thing 2 side you will go to the Textbook Tab.
